Evaluating the Effects of Working Tax Credit in Serbia

In major international competition FREN's researchers received financial support from CERGE-EI Foundation from Prague to work on the project "Behavioural micro-simulation modeling and structural labor supply: Evaluating the Effects of Working Tax Credit in Serbia" with the primary aim of ex-ante analysis of potential impacts of alternative policy reforms of taxes and social fees aimed at stimulating employment in the group of poorly paid workers (workers with low qualifications). The project combines microsimulation model of taxes and social contributions (SRMOD) with a structural model of labor supply.
